Welcome!
Doctors of Optometry James F. Sills and Elizabeth German reunited at the end of 2008 to establish West Kingston’s newest eyecare practice, BAYVIEW OPTOMETRY. Jim (OD, UW ‘82) brought over 25 years of Kingston patient experience to the partnership while Beth (OD, UW ’97) moved her solo practice from Amherstview. Dominique Holwitt (OD, NECO '08) has recently joined the practice to help manage patient demand and to bring fresh enthusiasm to the office.
Together, Jim, Beth and Dom offer full spectrum Optometry service and are happy to see infants, toddlers, kids, teens and young of all ages. They provide comprehensive ocular health, binocular vision and eyesight assessments using classic optometric skills and the help of new technology. Time is promised for diagnosis discussions. Vision treatment is offered with stylish glasses, contact lenses and laser consultation. Ocular health issues are managed in-clinic or with appropriate referral to ophthalmology or other specialty practitioners. Introductory referrals are not necessary but are always welcomed for diabetic and other high risk patients.
