What is astigmatism

Astigmatism is a visual condition that occurs when the front/clear part of the eye (the cornea) is slightly irregular in shape. (Think of a football as vs a basketball). This irregular shape causes the light entering your eye to  focus at different spots on the back of your eye (the retina). As a result, your vision may be blurry at all distances.
